The value for money at this hotel was exceptional, with spotless and luxurious rooms equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, situated in a quiet side street but still within walking distance of shops and pubs. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast selection could be improved with more variety and options for guests.

We booked a room with 2 beds and were pleasantly surprised by the size and luxury of the room and bathroom at this hidden gem. The shower and bath were top-notch, and the coffee machine with coffee and hot chocolate was a real treat. The location is perfect, right on Main Street but still tucked away. A great find for couples looking for a peaceful getaway.
Would recommend this hotel.

Charlie, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, from picking us up in the next town to showing us the best food options. the location of the hotel was perfect, centrally located near cafes and pubs, with a quiet garden next to the river. the rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet, with free Wi-Fi and a coffee machine that provided real coffee. I highly recommend a visit to this wonderful little town and the Clody Lodge.

We had a lovely stay at a hidden little gem in the centre of town. the rooms at Clody Lodge were cosy and comfortable, with a perfect mattress and white cotton linen. We slept peacefully thanks to the air conditioning keeping the room at an even temperature all night. It's a shame they don't offer breakfast or a lounge to gather, but overall, the standard of accommodation was excellent. We had a great time and will definitely be back in the future. Thank you to Charlie for being extremely supportive and kind during a family emergency.
No negatives from this place. 😊.

That the hotel breakfast wasn't available, but there are plenty of nearby cafes and restaurants to choose from.

We recently stayed at Clody Lodge for a short trip and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The hotel's new build meant that everything, from the furniture to the carpets, was still fresh and in great condition. We were delighted with the large bathtub and spacious bathroom, while the average size of the room was just right for our needs. Additionally, we appreciated that the toiletries provided were gender neutral. The friendly and helpful staff went above and beyond, making us feel welcome and providing valuable recommendations for local attractions. The facilities were excellent, including air conditioning, a well-stocked bathroom, and clean and comfortable surroundings. We will definitely choose to stay at Clody Lodge again on our next visit.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

Had an amazing Easter stay in this centrally located hotel. The rooms were luxurious and the price was superb! The staff was warm, friendly, and so helpful. They made me feel welcome and gave great advice on where to eat and visit. The hotel had great air conditioning and the bathrooms were deluxe. The bed and linen were so comfortable. They even let me borrow a kettle to make tea just how I like it. The location was perfect for exploring the area.
There was a minor issue with a blocked shower that flooded the bathroom, but the staff quickly resolved it. The hotel could have better signage facing the street for easier location.
